- Base Pay $25.00 - $35.00 / Hour
- Other Compensation Pay based on experience and certification

We are seeking an experienced Automotive Mechanic to provide regular and timely maintenance on the company’s vehicles, equipment, and tools so they operate safely, are fully functional for production crews when they need them, and last as long as possible. Additional duties include running diagnostic tests on vehicles, test driving vehicles to gauge performance, and maintaining detailed records of the vehicles serviced.
The primary duties include performing diagnostic tests to find faults, analyzing diagnostic test results, and repairing or replacing engine, steering, transmission, braking, A/C or lighting system components, etc. as needed.
Requirements- High school diploma or equivalent, plus 2+ years of experience as an auto mechanic OR combination of education and experience that illustrates a proven track record in this field
- Hydraulic experience is a plus
- ASE Certification advantageous
- Valid driver's license, safe driving record, and the ability to drive for the company
- Knowledge of automotive systems and how to repair problems
- Ability to lift or move up to 100 pounds.
- Skill in handling the tools and equipment necessary to perform work
- Strong attention to details, good time management, and excellent organizational skills
- Good interpersonal and verbal communication skills
- Ability to run diagnostic tests on vehicles.
- Analyze diagnostic test results.
- Replace vehicle engines, steering mechanisms, transmissions and braking systems.
- Check vehicle lighting systems.
- Test drive vehicles to gauge performance.
- Perform preventative maintenance on service trucks.
- Maintain detailed records of serviced vehicles.
- Adhere to an inspection procedure checklist.
- Maintain a parts inventory.
- Ensure the cleanliness of the shop.
