The Contribution You ll Bring to this RoleTo maintain receivable accounts in support of our vision to be our customers favorite supplier. The AR Collections Clerk reconciles receivables daily, makes necessary calls and emails to ensure aging is current, and addresses customer invoicing issues promptly.

What You ll Do at Justrite- Reconcile receivables daily, keeping all records current and documented
- Run Accounts Receivable Aging report, contact current and past-due customers, and work to keep A/R aging current
- Email past-due invoices with proof of delivery as needed to collect payments
- Work with Sales to reconcile invoicing discrepancies and request credit memos as needed
- Process credit memos as needed
- Communicate successes, needs, and challenges to Team and Supervisor
- Work independently and with teammates to meet challenges head on
- Perform other duties as required or assigned
- Report all unsafe activities to Plant Manager, Safety Director or Human Resources
- Be punctual and dependable
- Adhere to company policies regarding personal phones, headphones, and internet use
- Attend department and company meetings, and participate in proactive team efforts to meet goals
- Comply with all safety and environmental rules, regulations and guidelines, including PPE requirements when applicable
- Participate in cross-training within and outside of the home department as needed
To ensure success from day one, the following qualifications are required at a minimum:
- Associates degree is preferred or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- 2 or more years of related experience
- Microsoft Excel or similar spreadsheet working knowledge
- Good command of the English language, both written and verbal
- Good reading, spelling and comprehension skills
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed further include:
- Good typing skills
- High attention to detail
The position offers a competitive base salary ranging from $X to $X+.
Actual base salaries will vary and may be above or below the pay range based on factors such as location, relevant experience and performance. This role is eligible for an annual incentive plan to enhance total compensation when Justrite Safety Group and its business units achieve annual targets.
