Position Overview:
- Job Title: Locum Tenens - Radiologist (Mammography)
- Location: Near Brooksville, FL
- Shift Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
- Practice Setting: On-site hospital work (no telemedicine)
- Specialty: Mammography and General Diagnostic Radiology
- Start Date: Open until filled
- Call Requirements: None
- Weekend Requirements: None
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform general mammography and diagnostic imaging services
- Conduct stereotactic breast biopsies
- Supervise fluoroscopy procedures
- Interpret a variety of general diagnostic imaging studies
- Collaborate with the medical team to ensure high-quality patient care
- Utilize EMR systems (EPIC/Radiant) and PACS (Merge) for reporting and image management
- Dictation software (Fluency) provided for ease of reporting
Job Requirements:
- Board-certified in Radiology with a subspecialty in Mammography REQUIRED
- Active Florida medical license REQUIRED
- DEA certification REQUIRED
- Expertise in general mammography, biopsies, and diagnostic imaging
- Experience using EPIC and PACS systems preferred
