- Knowledge of complex marching rhythms
- Ability to demonstrate and perform marching show music
- Willingness to devote time before and after school hours
- Experience participating in a percussion program

Qualifications: - Prior successful experience coaching percussion ensembles
- Preferred Drum Corps International (DCI) experience
- Performance Responsibilities:
- Attend and participate in all practices, games, and competitions
- Supervise all percussion activities and rehearsals
- Act as advocate for percussion program in school and community
- Aid in the presentation of marching programs at home and away sites, if applicable
- Emphasize academic excellence with percussion and/or band class
- Implement program policies and procedures
- Ability to communicate for facility usage
- Perform other duties as assigned by Site Administrator or Designee

Paid in accordance with the Differentiated Pay for Additional Duty/Supplemental Salary Schedule in the Hernando County Teachers' Association (HCTA) Contract.
