• Second shift – Monday-Friday 2pm-10:30pm - $16.50/hr
• Third shift – Sunday-Thursday 10:30pm-6am - $17/hr

Summary

This position works with thin gauge stainless steel. Welding metal components together, fabricating or repairing products using layouts and blueprints.

Job Duties

• Welds metal components together
• Fabricate or repair products according to layouts, blueprints or work orders
• Set up welding machine based on job specifications
• Reads and interprets blueprints and other specifications, calculates dimensions and prepares appropriate materials.
• Checks the quality of all metal parts before assembling for welding, cutting, or cleaning as necessary. Visually examining it for obvious defects.
• Repairs products that are defective by dismantling, reshaping and fusing them back.
• Maintains equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs.

Qualifications

• Experience with TIG welding, high preferred
• Experience with thin 16 and 18 gauge stainless steel sheet metal, preferred
• Welding certification, preferred
• Training available
• Walk, stands, bend, stoop, reach and lift to 40lbs for the entire shift.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Must be able to work independently and manage time effectively.
