Job Summary
HCA Florida Oak Hill Hospital is looking for a Vice‑Chief CRNA who is passionate about high quality patient care and leading a team focused on excellence, l in Brooksville, Florida. As the Vice‑Chief CRNA, you will be responsible for supporting and assisting to supervise a dedicated group of 18 CRNAs that perform at top of license. This role is instrumental in aligning facility goals with divisional objectives while ensuring optimal patient care delivery.
Ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2‑4 years of practice experience.
Anesthesiology
Job Responsibilities- Foster strong communication and collaboration among team members and stakeholders.
- Develop continuous performance improvement and risk management programs.
- Ensure compliance with licensure, certification, and credentialing requirements.
- Lead educational initiatives to meet APP continuing education needs.
- Maintain efficient perioperative workflow and oversee scheduling.
- Collaborate with leadership to resolve conflicts and maintain a positive work environment.
- Supervise and evaluate staff APPs, ensuring adherence to policies and procedures.
- Oversee recruitment efforts for quality APPs in collaboration with recruitment teams.
- Maintain readiness for regulatory inspections and evaluations.
- Anesthesia care team model of 12 anesthesiologists and 18 CRNAs
- Case mix includes general, ortho, cardiac, thoracic, vascular, OB, GI, endo
- Flexible scheduling: 8s, 10s, 12s. Vice‑Chief schedule requires a min. of 3‑4 days onsite.
- No call requirement with minimal weekends.
- CRNAs are able to do A‑lines, push own meds and perform some PNBs with demonstrated proficiency. Cardiac work available if desired.
- Competitive compensation package includes tiered base salary based on years of experience.
- Additional $30K geographic stipend. $15K stipend if cardiac proficient.
- Start date bonus up to $75K and relocation assistance available.
- Annual Clinical Leadership Stipend.
- 8 weeks of time away from practice with no waiting period.
- Premium pay rate if clinician works past scheduled shift. Premium rate applies if clinician opts to pick‑up extra shifts.
