Sabal Palms Recovery Center is hiring Registered Nurses at our Brooksville, Florida facility.

Schedules: Full Time Days

Pay Rate: $32.50 to $37 per hour (dependent on years of experience)

• Assess patients’ physical and behavioral health needs and coordinate care.
• Develop and implement nursing care plans.
• Maintain medical records and educate patients and families about health conditions.
• Provide nursing care within the standards and scope of nursing practice as defined by state regulations, facility policies, and protocols.
• Ensure physicians’ orders are legible and transcribed appropriately.
• Continuously assess patients’ status and document pertinent information.
• Notify physicians of significant changes in status such as detox difficulties, medical emergencies, medication responses, and related challenges.
• Ensure initial nursing treatment plans are completed upon admission and tailored to assessed needs.
• Apply universal precautions while providing direct patient care.
• Accurately administer medications per ordered notes and document controlled substance administration.
• Complete admission and discharge processing efficiently.
• Maintain therapeutic rapport with patients by respecting boundaries and providing direct attention.
• Coordinate unit activities as directed.
• Communicate professionally with patients, visitors, co‑workers, and others involved in inpatient treatment.

• Graduated from an accredited school of nursing.
• Current Registered Nurse license for the state of employment (or eligibility to practice).
• Minimum one year of nursing experience; prior psychiatric, mental, behavioral, or substance abuse nursing experience is a plus.
• CPR and de‑escalation and restraint certification required (training provided).
• First aid certification may be required based on state or facility needs.
