The Electrical Technicianisresponsiblefortheinstallation ,inspection,maintenance,troubleshooting,andrepairofelectricalsystemsandequipmentusedinindustrialmanufacturingandcementproductionfacilities.
Thepositionensuresmaximumequipmentreliabilitywhilemaintainingcompliancewithcompanysafetystandardsandallapplicableregulations.
- Diagnoseelectricalfailuresandimplementeffectiverepairsolutionstominimizedowntime.
- Install,adjust,andmaintainmotors,transformers,switch gear,MCCs,VFDs,PLCs,sensors,relays,and instrumentation.
- Assistwithequipmentcommissioning,startup,andshutdownactivities.
- Supportproductionteamsbyrespondingpromptlytoelectricalissues.
- Maintainaccuratemaintenancerecords,work orders,andinspectionreports.
- EnsurecompliancewithOSHA,NFPA,NEC,andallCEMEXsafetypoliciesandprocedures.
- Participateincontinuousimprovementinitiativestoenhanceequipmentreliabilityandplantefficiency.
- Performotherdutiesasassignedbymanagement.
- High School Diplomaor Technical Degreein Electrical Technologyorrelatedfield .
- Experienceincementmanufacturing,mining,aggregates,orotherheavyindustrialenvironmentspreferred.
- Knowledge of:
- PLCsystems
- Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs)
- AC/DCmotorsandcontrols
- Electrical instrumentation
- Preventiveandpredictivemaintenance
- Abilitytoreadelectricaldrawingsandtechnicaldocumentation.
- Abilitytoworkindependentlyandaspartofamultidisciplinarymaintenanceteam.
- Valid driver'slicense.
- Preventiveandpredictivemaintenance.
- Electricalsafetyand Lockout/Tagout(LOTO).
- PLCandmotorcontrolsystems.
- Instrumentationandprocesscontrol.
- Commitmenttoworkplacesafetyandcontinuousimprovement.
- Industrialmanufacturingenvironment.
- Exposuretodust,noise,vibration,andvaryingweatherconditions.
- Abilitytoclimbladders,workatheights,andinconfinedspaces.
