Industrial Lead Electrician
The Lead Industrial Electrician will undertake a variety of tasks relating to setting up and maintaining electrical infrastructure. This job involves installing electrical wiring in buildings and poles, troubleshooting malfunctions and blackouts, and repairing appliances. This position is based out of Lakeland, FL area.
Essential functions include following safe workplace practices, reading and interpreting schematic drawings, estimating materials and time, installing, maintaining, and repairing secondary electrical systems, performing preventive and predictive maintenance, maintaining documentation, training electricians, and upholding food safety certification program principles.
Working environment includes indoor and outdoor settings, exposure to extreme temperatures, hazardous conditions, loud sounds, bright or inadequate lighting, and contaminants.
Competencies include excellent critical thinking, problem-solving, knowledge of tools and instruments, positive attitude, and thorough knowledge of safety procedures.
Supervisory responsibilities include providing expertise and training for electricians.
Qualifications include 4+ years of relevant electrical experience, knowledge of industrial and commercial electrical systems, an associate's degree in Industrial Electrical Technology or similar field, and physical demands such as moving materials, using small tools, traveling, and working in cramped spaces.
