Job SummaryThe CDL Pump Truck Driver operates the pump truck on pre‑determined routes, controlling the truck’s pump or similar equipment to collect waste from portable sanitation units and deposit their contents into the truck.
Job ClassificationFull‑time & Part‑time; non‑exempt under the Fair Labor Standards Act.
LocationBrooksville/Spring Hill, FL
Responsibilities- Operate a sanitation truck to collect and dispose of waste materials
- Follow all safety procedures and regulations
- Perform pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections of the vehicle
- Ensure proper loading and unloading of waste materials
- Maintain accurate records of waste collection and disposal
- Communicate effectively with customers and team members
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Valid CDL license
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a sanitation driver
- Ability to operate a sanitation truck in a safe and efficient manner
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed
- Ability to work and drive in a variety of weather conditions
