Paid travel between locations
Paid 30-minute lunch during travel
Ongoing training (20 hours/year)
This client's Early Intervention program supports children ages 3 to kindergarten entry with developmental delays or disabilities. As a Personal Care Assistant (PCA), you will work under the supervision of teachers and service providers to deliver instructional, behavioral, and personal care support in classroom settings.
Assist in classroom instruction and supervision
Support students with feeding, toileting, and positioning
Monitor and document student behavior and progress
Attend and contribute to IEP meetings
Implement behavior intervention plans
Maintain confidentiality and adhere to FERPA regulations
Ensure a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment
Collaborate with educators, therapists, and families
Provide crisis intervention and de-escalation support
Demonstrate cultural competence and professionalism
Complete daily sign-in/out logs
High School Diploma or GED
Experience with children preferred
Must use IEP Writer software
Required clearances (must be current):
- PA Child Abuse Clearance
- FBI Fingerprints
- PA Criminal History Check
- TB Test
- Mandated Reporter Training
- CPR/First Aid Certification (hands-on required)
- Act 82 Arrest/Conviction Form
- Completed Act 168 Form
