Business Processes Senior Consultant

SAP America, Inc. seeks a Business Processes Senior Consultant at our Newtown Square, PA location to drive business consulting by translating the customer's vision into solutions.

Expectations and tasks include:

• Mapping business processes to solution requirements
• Helping position disruptive business innovation
• Supporting the transformation towards Intelligent Enterprise
• Driving change management to achieve business transformation objectives
• Supporting end-to-end solution design and configuration across all relevant solutions (on-premise, cloud and hybrid), applying state-of-the-art methodologies and standards
• Participating in transition planning of customer solution landscapes
• Driving deployment of best practice business processes for specific LoBs or industries
• Supporting pre-sales activities and escalated projects
• Performing solution reviews and feasibility studies
• Occasionally taking over responsibility as a (sub-)project lead or team lead for service delivery
• Supporting line manager(s) in people development tasks
• Delivering customer workshops and trainings
• Supporting in partner-led projects to ensure ecosystem and customer success
• Introducing SAP and industry leading practices based on pre-existing templates, standard content and experience
• Creating project documentation and documentation of delivered services
• Supporting the evolution of the relevant section of the services portfolio for the respective solution area and key related areas; can be owner of a service and/or supports updates to the portfolio
• Providing support in solution testing and issue resolution
• Can mentor business process consultants

Education and occupational experience:
Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Business Information Systems, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field of study and six (6) years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or related occupation. Alternatively, a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Business Information Systems, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field of study and four (4) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.

Qualifications/skills and competencies experience must involve four (4) years in the following: configuring, designing, testing, and deploying enterprise applications, including SAP warehouse management solutions; designing, implementing, and executing test plans that include unit, functional, regression, system and integration tests; testing ERP applications, including leveraging automated test tools; and deploying applications using SAP Solution Manager. Experience must also involve three (3) years in the following: warehouse business process analysis;

configuring, designing, testing, and deploying enterprise applications, including enterprise asset management and equipment management solutions; configuring, designing, testing, and deploying enterprise applications, including materials management solutions; and report build tools, including Crystal reporting, and ABAP reporting tools.

Travel:
Position requires up to 50% domestic travel to various and unanticipated customer sites and SAP offices to implement customer-procured solutions and perform customer-facing project tasks.
