Business Processes Senior Consultant

SAP America, Inc. seeks a Business Processes Senior Consultant at our Newtown Square, PA location to drive business consulting by translating the customer's vision into solutions.

Expectations and Tasks:

• Map business processes to solution requirements.
• Help position disruptive business innovation.
• Support the transformation towards Intelligent Enterprise.
• Drive change management to achieve business transformation objectives.
• Support end-to-end solution design and configuration across all relevant solutions (on-premise, cloud and hybrid), applying state-of-the-art methodologies and standards.
• Participate in transition planning of customer solution landscapes.
• Drive deployment of best practice business processes for specific LoBs or industries.
• Support pre-sales activities and escalated projects.
• Perform solution reviews and feasibility studies.
• Occasionally take over responsibility as a (sub-)project lead or team lead for service delivery.
• Support line manager(s) in people development tasks.
• Deliver customer workshops and trainings.
• Support in partner-led projects to ensure ecosystem and customer success.
• Introduce SAP and industry leading practices based on pre-existing templates, standard content and experience.
• Create project documentation and documentation of delivered services.
• Support the evolution of the relevant section of the services portfolio for the respective solution area and key related areas; can be owner of a service and/or supports updates to the portfolio.
• Provide support in solution testing and issue resolution.
• Can mentor business process consultants.

Education and Occupational

Experience:

Bachelor 's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Business Information Systems, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field of study and six (6) years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or related occupation. Alternatively, a Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Business Information Systems, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field of study and four (4) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.

Qualifications/Skills and Competencies

Experience:

• Experience must involve four (4) years in the following:
  Configuring, designing, testing, and deploying enterprise applications, including SAP warehouse management solutions;
  Designing, implementing, and executing test plans that include unit, functional, regression, system and integration tests;
  Testing ERP applications, including leveraging automated test tools; and Deploying applications using SAP Solution Manager.
• Experience must also involve three (3) years in the following:
  Warehouse Business Process Analysis;
  Configuring, designing, testing, and deploying enterprise applications, including enterprise asset management and equipment management solutions;
  Configuring, designing, testing, and deploying enterprise applications, including materials management solutions; and Report build tools, including Crystal reporting, and ABAP reporting tools.

Travel:
Position requires up to 50% domestic travel to various and unanticipated customer sites and SAP offices to implement customer-procured solutions and perform customer-facing project tasks.
