Accounts Payable Administrator

Ideal Steel is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Administrator to join our growing team. This role is responsible for managing the full-cycle accounts payable process, ensuring accurate and timely payment of invoices while supporting overall financial operations.

• Process high-volume vendor invoices accurately and efficiently
• Match purchase orders, receipts, and invoices (3‑way match)
• Review and reconcile vendor statements
• Prepare and process weekly check runs/electronic payments
• Maintain organized and accurate AP records
• Assist with month‑end close activities related to AP
• Communicate with vendors and internal departments to resolve discrepancies
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures

• 2+ years of accounts payable or related accounting experience
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Experience with ERP/accounting systems preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general computer skills
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment
• Strong communication and problem‑solving skills

• Hourly Rate: $17 – $20
  , depending on experience

Paid Time Off (PTO)

• 10 days annually (accrued at 3.08 hours bi‑weekly)
