Customer Service Representative

Under the direction of the Customer Service Manager, the Customer Service Representative will respond to customer inquiries regarding company products and services, process customer phone orders, check availability of stock and shipping dates, quote prices, fill orders to customer specifications, process sales data via computer, and assist the outside sales team by preparing price quotes and sourcing products.

Responsibilities of Customer Service Representative include, but are not limited to:

• Responding to customer inquiries regarding company products, services and repairs
• Processing customer phone orders
• Checking availability of stock and shipping dates
• Quoting prices, filling orders to customer specifications and processing sales data via computer
• Assisting the outside sales team by preparing price quotes and sourcing products

Qualifications of the Customer Service Representative include, but are not limited to:

• Prior inside sales/customer service experience
• The ideal candidate would have preferably/but not required 2-3 years of some combination of the following knowledge: pump/motor /rotating equipment/industrial products.
• Efficient in Windows based programs (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.). Experience with Sales Force, Zoom, Microsoft Teams, SAP Ariba, Infor Visual, Outlook and Citrix P21 would be a plus.
• Procure parts from vendors for repairs and maintain job schedules for project assigned.
• Excellent communication skills
• Should be enthusiastic and able to work independently.
• Must have experience performing a majority of the functions.
• Willingness to learn and take directions when needed.
• Data entry skills, organization, multi-tasking, and customer focus is required.
• Daily in-person attendance required.
