Responsibilities:- Learn and assist with processing payroll, including reviewing timesheets, entering payroll data, and submitting payroll to third-party processors.
- Assist with maintenance of employee payroll records, including direct deposits, garnishments, and benefits deductions.
- Back up the Payroll Specialist as needed, ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing.
- Support HR during onboarding of new employees, participating in orientation process.
- Assist with recruitment activities, including scheduling interviews and maintaining candidate records.
- Maintain and organize personnel records and HR reports.
- Support the HR Manager in day-to-day tasks as the role evolves, including compliance tracking and employee relations.
- Provide administrative support across both departments, ensuring smooth operations and clear communication.
- 2+ years of experience in accounting, HR, or a similar administrative role.
- Strong knowledge of payroll processes and accounting principles.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
- Strong proficiency in Accounting, Microsoft Office Suite, and HRIS systems.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Human Resources, or a related field preferred.
