R&M Electrical Technician ; Onsite: Broussard, LA

The R&M Electrical Technician under strict supervision, performs repairs, preventative maintenance, calibration, and inspections on down-hole tool electronics and other equipment used in the application for down-hole tools, including Directional/ RSS or M/LWD sensors.

• Pay Rate:$23.50/hour
• Assignment Length: 3 months contract with a high possibility of extension based on performance and other factors.
• Shift Details: Standard 40 hour work week with overtime.

Responsibilities:

• Perform tasks with a focus on safety, efficiency, and effectiveness.
• Specialize in areas such as mechanical aptitude, electronics, computer skills, and the assembly and disassembly of tools associated with PSL equipment.
• Work with Measure While Drilling (MWD) and Logging While Drilling (LWD) down-hole tools.

Qualifications:

• Technical school certificate or equivalent required.
• Proficient computer skills.
• Strong measurement and math skills.
• Experience with overhead cranes and forklifts is a plus.
