Job Summary
The Electrical Assembler IV is a highly skilled and experienced role responsible for assembling, wiring, testing, and troubleshooting complex electrical systems and components. This position requires advanced technical knowledge, the ability to interpret detailed schematics, and leadership in supporting lower‑level assemblers. The Electrical Assembler IV ensures high‑quality builds, adherence to safety standards, and efficient production processes.
Job Duties / Responsibilities- Assemble complex electrical panels, systems, and subassemblies based on engineering drawings, schematics, and work instructions
- Perform advanced wiring, routing, and termination of electrical components
- Interpret and troubleshoot electrical schematics, diagrams, and blueprints
- Test and validate assembled systems using appropriate tools and equipment (e.g., multimeters, megohmmeters, etc.)
- Identify and resolve electrical and mechanical issues during the assembly process
- Ensure adherence to quality standards, safety protocols, and company procedures
- Provide guidance, training, and mentoring to other Assemblers
- Collaborate with engineering, quality, and production teams to resolve technical challenges
- Recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency, quality, and safety
- Maintain accurate documentation of work performed, including inspections and testing results
- Advanced understanding of electrical systems, wiring, and control panels
- Ability to read and interpret detailed electrical schematics and blueprints
- Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills
- Proficiency with electrical testing equipment and hand tools
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
- High School Degree or equivalent.
- 5+ years of related experience.
- Experience with PLC wiring or control systems.
- Demonstrated experience working with complex electrical systems or equipment.
