Field Service Supervisor

Overview

Transcat offers a Field Service Supervisor role focused on safe and efficient operation of pressure control equipment across various field sites. The role supports Well Site Supervisors and Wireline Supervisors, records job information, maintains equipment, and upholds safety and quality systems.

Position Summary

The Field Service Supervisor is responsible for the safe and efficient operation and maintenance of pressure control equipment at various locations. They play a crucial role in ensuring the successful execution of pre-job equipment preparation, product installation at the well site, and post-job demobilization and repair of service equipment. They work closely with Well Site Supervisors and Wireline Supervisors to ensure tasks are completed effectively.

Additionally, they interact professionally with customers and contribute to maintaining a safe work environment.

• Operation and maintenance of Becnel pressure control equipment on location
• Accurately record job‑related information and maintain required documentation
• Coordinate with Well Site Supervisor and Wireline Supervisor to understand objectives of tasks required to complete the job safely and efficiently
• At shop, service and maintain all tools and complete associated paperwork
• Work with Quality and HSE Manager in all aspects of the quality and safety system
• Interact with customers
• Maintain a safe work environment in compliance with industry standards and regulations
• Model the company’s values to influence others to perform in an aligned manner
• Other duties as assigned

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Mechanical aptitude
• Attention to detail
• Problem‑solving skills
• Ability to work well in a team, follow safety protocols, and in challenging environments
• Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC)
• Training: PEC‑SEMS, PEC‑Offshore, Safe Gulf, Safe Land USA, Water Survival, H2S/Fit Testing, Fire‑Fight, Pressure Control, Wellcap, and any other training required of customers
• 3+ years driving experience with a valid driver’s license and acceptable driver history

Education and Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Industry product knowledge, preferred
• At least 1 year of experience or equivalent work history, preferred
