We are currently looking for a
** Shop Helper
** to join our team in
** Broussard, LA.*
* *
* Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
*
* + Assist in loading and unloading equipment while operating a forklift.
+ Responsible for the cleanliness, pressure washing, maintenance and proper disposal of debris on property.
+ General shop and yard housekeeping.
+ Assist with pressure washing equipment for rent ready status.
+ Assist as helper with tradesmen on floor (joiner, electrician, hvac, etc)
+ Maintain organization of the shop and supply storage.
+ Follow established safety policies and procedures.
+ On a rotation basis, will be required to be on call when scheduled.
+ Ensure full awareness of, and compliance with, the requirements of all relevant company/customer QHSE handbooks, QHSE procedures and emergency procedures.
+ Perform any other delegated duties considered appropriate in order to maintain the efficient running of the department.
+ This position has the potential to learn a trade with on-the-job training
** Education/
Experience:
*
* + High school diploma or equivalent general education degree (GED) preferred.
+ Certification operating a forklift preferred.
+ Equivalent combination of experience and/or training.
