We are currently looking for a Shop Helper to join our team in
Broussard, LA.
- Assist in loading and unloading equipment while operating a forklift.
- Responsible for the cleanliness, pressure washing, maintenance and proper disposal of debris on property.
- General shop and yard housekeeping.
- Assist with pressure washing equipment for rent ready status.
- Assist as helper with tradesmen on floor (joiner, electrician, hvac, etc)
- Maintain organization of the shop and supply storage.
- Follow established safety policies and procedures.
- On a rotation basis, will be required to be on call when scheduled.
- Ensure full awareness of, and compliance with, the requirements of all relevant company/customer QHSE handbooks, QHSE procedures and emergency procedures.
- Perform any other delegated duties considered appropriate in order to maintain the efficient running of the department.
- This position has the potential to learn a trade with on-the-job training
Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent general education degree (GED) preferred.
- Certification operating a forklift preferred.
- Equivalent combination of experience and/or training.
