Associate Degree in Industrial Automation or Electronics required; US Citizen or Green Card holder; residence within a dependable 45-minute driving radius of the Greater Milwaukee / North Shore area.

WhatYou Will Be Doing (Daily Responsibilities)
- Lead System Diagnostics & Support:
Provide expert technical support and advanced troubleshooting for complex electronic control systems, PLC networks, and high-speed drive systems to maximize facility asset availability. - PLC & HMI Programming Modifications:
Execute precise PLC programming modifications, logic upgrades, and routine program optimizations using Allen-Bradley and Siemens development suites. - SCADA & Network Integration:
Implement and refine SCADA solutions to enhance real-time data acquisition, plant-wide network connectivity, and system performance monitoring. - Drive Equipment & Controls Upgrades:
Lead continuous improvement projects and control system designs, utilizing root-cause analysis to engineer control layouts for custom-built machinery. - Support Machinery Installations:
Partner cross-functionally across the shop floor during capital equipment installations, safely utilizing rigging and material handling assets for industrial loads. - Maintain Safety & Facility Standards:
Uphold rigorous facility safety benchmarks and 5S organizational standards while participating in a shared technical on-call rotation.
- Educational Foundation:
Associate Degree in Industrial Automation, Electronics, Mechatronics, or a closely related engineering technology discipline. - 5+ Years Automation & Controls Depth:
Verifiable background managing industrial automation controls, system integration, or senior electro-mechanical maintenance in a manufacturing plant. - Allen-Bradley & Siemens Proficiency:
Hands-on experience navigating, editing, and configuring Allen-Bradley (Studio 5000/Logix) and Siemens (TIA Portal) hardware, industrial networks, and HMI panels. - Schematic & Print Literacy:
Flawless competency reading, interpreting, and tracing highly complex engineering documents, multi-page machine schematics, and electrical diagrams. - Industrial Electrical & Utility Mastery:
Comprehensive working knowledge of single/three-phase power distribution, AC/DC variable frequency drives (VFDs), advanced pneumatics, and hydraulic circuits. - Continuous Process Exposure:
