- Perform advanced technical diagnostics, root-cause analysis, and precision repairs on high-capacity industrial automation, complex robotics, and integrated manufacturing lines.
- Serve as the primary onsite technical authority for PLC systems, executing advanced troubleshooting, program monitoring, and system optimizations (Allen Bradley and Siemens).
- Interpret highly complex mechanical blueprints, structural designs, and sophisticated electrical schematics to isolate and resolve high-level system failures rapidly.
- Execute comprehensive, data-driven preventative maintenance tasks on AC/DC electrical systems, advanced pneumatics, and high-pressure hydraulic circuitry.
- Utilize precision welding and shop fabrication skills to safely modify production equipment or repair critical, close-tolerance machine components.
- Partner cross-functionally with plant operations leadership to minimize unplanned downtime while providing technical mentorship and guidance to junior team members.
- 7+ years of progressively responsible industrial maintenance experience operating inside a sophisticated, fast-paced manufacturing facility.
- Verifiable expertise interfacing with and troubleshooting automated systems, sensors, robotics, and major PLC platforms (Allen Bradley/Siemens).
- A strong, comprehensive background executing complex fluid power rebuilds (pneumatic/hydraulic) and high-voltage AC/DC electrical diagnostics.
- Demonstrated proficiency handling industrial welding and machinery modification to support rapid equipment recovery.
- A rock-solid, consistent work history that reflects long-term commitment, exceptional attendance habits, and professional dedication with past employers.
- Local proximity, with the requirement to reside within a dependable daily driving radius of the Greater Milwaukee / North Shore area.
