WhatYou Will Be Doing (Daily Responsibilities)
- Lead System Diagnostics & Machinery Recovery:
Perform advanced technical diagnostics, root-cause analysis, and precision repairs on high-capacity industrial automation, complex robotic cells, and integrated production machinery. - Troubleshoot Industrial PLC Networks:
Serve as the primary onsite technical authority for PLC systems, executing advanced troubleshooting, signal tracing, program monitoring, and logic optimizations on Allen-Bradley and Siemens platforms. - Interpret Complex Engineering Drawings:
Read and navigate highly complex mechanical assembly prints, structural layout drawings, and multi-page electrical/fluid power schematics to rapidly isolate system faults. - Maintain Power & Fluid Networks:
Execute comprehensive preventive maintenance and system rebuilds across high-voltage AC/DC electrical distribution, advanced pneumatic manifolds, and high-pressure hydraulic loops. - Execute Machinery Modifications:
Utilize precision welding and machine shop fabrication tools to safely modify production machinery, rebuild worn assemblies, or repair critical close-tolerance machine components. - Collaborate & Mentor:
Partner cross-functionally with plant leadership to eliminate unplanned downtime while providing informal technical mentorship to junior maintenance technicians.
- 7+ Years Industrial Maintenance Depth:
Verifiable, progressive background maintaining and troubleshooting complex electro-mechanical machinery inside a fast-paced manufacturing facility. - PLC & Robotics Fluency:
Proven experience interfacing with, monitoring, and troubleshooting automated manufacturing lines, industrial sensors, robotic arms, and major PLC platforms (Allen-Bradley Studio 5000 / Logix or Siemens TIA Portal). - Fluid Power & Electrical Mastery:
