Position: Unit Coordinator - ACS (Per Diem)
Position Summary:

Supports the provision of patient care through the coordination of unit clerical activities, intra and inter departmental communication, record keeping and order transcription.

Experience

Required:

None

Preferred:
Previous experience as unit coordinator or previous clerical/secretarial experience

Education

Required:

High School Degree or equivalency ;

Preferred:
Unit coordinator course and/or secretarial and computer training

License and Credentials

Required:

None

Skills

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, organization and time management skills, computer skills, basic knowledge of medical terminology; ability to use standard office equipment including fax machine, multi-line phones, and copiers; ability to handle multiple tasks and to work independently

The minimum starting rate for this position is $16.32

When determining a team members base rate, several factors may be considered as applicable (e.g., years of recent relevant experience, education, credentials, and internal equity).
