Overview
St. Malachy Catholic School, located on the west side of Indianapolis in the growing town of Brownsburg, is a preschool through 8th grade Catholic school with an enrollment of 520 students with two classrooms for each grade level. St. Malachy is seeking a faith-filled middle school English teacher licensed to teach middle school English Language Arts for the school year.
Responsibilities- Plan and implement lessons for 6th through 8th grade students.
- Design and facilitate engaging lessons, provide ongoing student support, and create a positive classroom environment with Christ at the center.
- Collaborate with grade-level teams, other grade level teachers, special area teachers, and support staff.
- Strong knowledge of the Indiana English/Language Arts Standards and current best practices to meet diverse student needs.
- Strong faith with willingness to share faith throughout each subject area taught.
- Excellent organization and communication skills; flexible.
