3rd grade Teacher

St. Malachy Catholic School, located on the west side of Indianapolis in the growing town of Brownsburg, is a preschool through 8th grade Catholic school with an enrollment of 515 students with two classrooms for each grade level. St. Malachy is seeking faith-filled 3rd grade teacher, for the  school year. The teacher in this position will be responsible for planning and implementing daily lessons.

The ideal teacher candidate has both a strong knowledge of the Indiana standards for the aforementioned grade levels as well as current best practices to meet diverse student needs. All teachers achy are expected to design and facilitate engaging lessons, utilize formative assessment to guide instruction and provide ongoing student support, and create a positive classroom environment with Christ at the center.

They must have a strong faith and willingness to share that faith with students throughout each subject area taught. Candidates should be able to work with grade-level team members, other grade level teachers, special education, and special area teachers, as well as all support staff. Must have excellent organization and communication skills while being flexible.
