Position Overview
St. Malachy Catholic School, located on the west side of Indianapolis in the growing town of Brownsburg, is a preschool through 8th grade Catholic school with an enrollment of 520 students. The school is seeking a faith-filled middle school English teacher licensed to teach middle school English Language Arts for the school year.
Responsibilities- Plan and implement lessons for 6th through 8th grade students.
- Design and facilitate engaging, standards‑aligned lessons that meet diverse student needs.
- Provide ongoing student support and create a positive classroom environment with Christ at the center.
- Collaborate with grade‑level team members, other grade‑level teachers, special area teachers, and all support staff.
- Licensed middle school English teacher, knowledgeable of the Indiana English/Language Arts Standards.
- Strong faith and willingness to share that faith with students throughout each subject area taught.
- Excellent organization and communication skills with a flexible, collaborative approach.
