Activity Assistant (CNA) Opportunity at Brownsburg Meadows
Part-time
The Activity Assistant plays a vital and heartfelt role in enriching the lives of residents. With warmth, patience, and genuine care, they help create a joyful and engaging environment where seniors feel seen, heard, and valued.
Responsibilities- Skills Needed: Creativity:
Create engaging, age-appropriate activities that suit different physical and cognitive abilities. - Supportive Presence:
Connect with residents and understand their emotional and social needs. - Teamwork:
Work with the care team to support residents holistically and achieve excellent care. - Time Management:
Balance daily schedules, multiple residents, and activity prep.
- Demonstrates C.A.R.E. values to residents, family members, customers and staff (Compassion, Accountability, Relationships and Excellence).
- High school diploma or GED; or one to three months’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Successful completion of a State-approved Nursing Assistant training and competency evaluation program or a CNA competency evaluation program approved by the State. Training can also be provided by the community.
