Tier 1 IT Support Specialist

Location: Onsite in the Indianapolis area

Join a well-established distributor of commercial supplies and equipment serving industries including education, healthcare, government, hospitality, and property management. This role is the first point of contact for IT issues across the organization, providing hands‑on technical support while working closely with the broader IT team.

• Provide first-level technical support for hardware, software, network, and application issues
• Troubleshoot desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices, and basic network connectivity
• Create, update, and manage user accounts, passwords, permissions, and access
• Support Microsoft 365, email, Teams, and other business applications
• Log, track, prioritize, and resolve help desk tickets in a timely manner
• Assist with new-hire onboarding, workstation setup, and equipment deployment

• 1–3 years of experience in an IT Help Desk, Service Desk, or Tier 1 support role
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Experience with Windows environments, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and basic networking
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to prioritize multiple issues and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Self‑motivated, dependable, and detail‑oriented
