Position Summary:

Key Responsibilities- Perform general maintenance tasks including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and appliance repairs.
- Conduct regular inspections of apartment units and common areas to ensure they meet safety standards and elevate issues accordingly.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and prioritize service requests according to urgency.
- Schedule and execute preventive maintenance to ensure all systems function optimally.
- Coordinate with external contractors and vendors for specialized repairs or services.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment in maintenance areas and throughout the community.
- Contribute to seasonal property upkeep, including landscaping and snow removal as required.
- Assist in handling emergency situations, ensuring resident safety and minimizing property damage.
- Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, inventory, and equipment status.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certification or college degree in a related field preferred.
- Proven experience in property maintenance, with strong skills in plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and appliance repair.
- Knowledge of local, state, and federal regulations regarding building maintenance and safety.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a team.
- Strong communication skills and customer service orientation.
- Flexibility to be on-call for after-hours emergencies.
- Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
