Forklift Operator, General Labor
The Forklift Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient movement, loading, and unloading of materials throughout the warehouse. This position operates both sit-down and stand-up forklifts to support production, receiving, storage, and shipping functions. The role requires strong situational awareness, attention to detail, and a consistent commitment to workplace safety and accuracy. This position will be relied on to maintaining clean work areas, prevent damage to materials and equipment, and supporting smooth warehouse operations.

Key Responsibilities- Operates sit-down and stand-up forklifts to move materials safely and efficiently
- Loads and unloads trucks, pallets, and racks according to work instructions
- Moves raw materials, parts, and finished goods to designated locations
- Moves bulk pallets and parcel pallets to designated locations
- Follows established safety procedures and complies with OSHA requirements
- Conducts forklift inspections and reports issues
- Scans, labels, and tracks inventory using warehouse systems when required
- Print and attach labels to product with extreme accuracy.
- Stacks and stores materials in an organized and secure manner
- Assists with cycle counts and inventory checks when requested
- Maintains a clean and orderly work area
- Reports hazards, near-misses, and unsafe conditions immediately
- Performs other duties as assigned
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Valid forklift certification or ability to obtain certification
- Experience operating sit-down and stand-up forklifts
- Basic understanding of warehouse safety procedures
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Reliable attendance and work ethic
- Previous experience in manufacturing or warehouse environments
- Experience working with Warehouse Management Systems
- Knowledge of basic material handling and storage practices
- Familiarity with shipping and receiving processes
- Experience with computers and warehouse planning
