Position Overview
As part of the 2nd Shift team at Mercury Marine Plant 103, you will perform a variety of warehouse, distribution, shipping, receiving, and kitting functions. You will also ensure a safe work environment and adhere to established production and quality standards.
Essential Functions- Receiving product through a Manhattan Warehouse Management System.
- Picking and packaging of parts and accessories for shipping.
- Kitting of components as customer demand dictates.
- Reading process sheets, manufacturing instruction sheets, or other job-related documentation.
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment by complying with JSAs, SOPs, Work Rules, and plant safety rules; reporting quality and safety issues to management.
- Ensuring daily and regular attendance.
- Working overtime as required, including weekends and holidays if operation needs dictate.
- Performing physical tasks as specified in the Physical Requirements section.
- Being available to work all shifts.
- Must be 18+ years old.
- HS Diploma or GED.
- Ability to read process sheets and bills of material.
- Ability to read and follow standardized work instructions.
- Basic math skills (adding, subtracting, multiplying, dividing).
- Proficiency in English, both written and verbal.
- Ability to lift and/or carry 25-50 pounds occasionally; walk multiple steps and stand for 8 hours per day; twist, bend, climb, grasp, and perform repetitive movements.
- Capability to work in all warehouse and distribution plant environments.
- Can operate/drive PIT equipment (including reach truck, OP, pallet jack, etc.) if needed.
