Vision Center Manager NL; Certified

Position Summary

Drive sales in the Vision Center by ensuring effective merchandise presentation, accurate and competitive pricing, proper signing, in-stock levels, inventory budgeting and forecasting, while assessing economic trends and community needs.

Enforce and provide direction to Associates on proper Customer/Member service approaches and techniques to resolve needs, complaints, and issues within company guidelines and standards.

Oversee community outreach programs and encourage Associates to act as community members.

Ensure compliance with company and legal policies and regulations for the Vision Center by analyzing and interpreting reports, monitoring asset protection, safety controls, operational and quality assurance reviews, and implementing action plans to improve performance.

Provide supervision and development opportunities for Associates through hiring, training, mentoring, assigning duties, and recognizing achievements, fostering a belonging mindset in the workplace.

Ensure the provision of quality eyewear by consulting with and educating Members/Customers, selecting products based on needs, obtaining measurements, verifying prescriptions, maintaining confidential information, performing minor frame repairs, and maintaining optical equipment.

Uphold the Company’s Open Door Policy by meeting with Associates, listening to concerns, researching issues, reviewing company policies and procedures, and suggesting resolutions.

Coordinate completion and oversight of job-related activities and assignments by developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, supporting plans and initiatives to meet customer and business needs, communicating goals and objectives, building accountability, measuring progress, and addressing improvement opportunities, while demonstrating adaptability and promoting continuous learning.

• Completion of 2 or more years of college, or
• 1 year’s retail experience and 1 year’s supervisory experience, or
• 2 years’ general work experience including 1 year’s optical experience.
