Responsibilities

  • Develop and grow paint, body, and equipment sales within the assigned territory, targeting both contracted and non‑contracted customers.
  • Coordinate 2‑week sales schedules with Regional Field Sales Managers, Regional Directors, Store Managers, District Managers, and Territory Sales Managers; email the schedule to all relevant parties.
  • Coordinate sales call reminders at least 1 week in advance, copy District Managers, RFSMs, and Director Division Sales.
  • Target existing accounts, contracted customers, and prospect new business; maintain a goal of 10–15 sales calls per full day.
  • Provide store training, inventory reviews, mixing equipment inspections, and discuss flyers, competition, and account recaps.
  • Review competitive accounts, flyers, and invoices to ensure pricing remains competitive.
  • Assist RFSM in conducting sales blitzes, focusing on PBE potential.
  • Email daily recaps and monthly overviews using templates to relevant stakeholders.
  • Meet with Director Division Sales at least monthly and maintain consistent communication with Regional Directors and RFSMs via in‑person or conference calls.
  • Communicate extreme changes in store PBE sales promptly to all relevant parties.
  • Collaborate with vendor representatives to stay current on new products, sales flyers, and promotions.
  • Develop and grow all contracted accounts; handle investment needs and requests.
  • Fill out Shop Investment Request Forms (SIRFs) accurately and work with the PBE Sales Department for investment approvals.
  • Coordinate with paint vendor representatives for support on investments.
  • Present contracts and schedule installation of investment items.
  • Ensure all equipment is functional and well‑maintained (camera, mixing bank, scale, etc.).
  • Identify new markets for paint mixing capabilities and conduct market surveys with feedback from District Managers, Regional Directors, and RFSMs.
  • Schedule and set up all mixing equipment and product at the store; work with District Managers or Territory Sales Managers to blitz new mixing store territories.
  • Conduct team‑member and customer training, including regional classes, one‑on‑one sessions, and training at paint facilities.
Qualifications & Skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Attention to detail, self‑starter, and ability to learn independently.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and people skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Basic computer and typing skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time‑management skills.
  • Knowledge of paint and auto repair needs.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Desired:
    Advanced computer skills, technical training/schooling in automotive refinish, and 2+ years of outside sales experience in the PBE automotive field.
