Staff Scientist​/Geologist

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Brownsburg, IN, for a Staff Scientist/Geologist. The position involves conducting fieldwork, collecting and analyzing environmental samples, preparing technical reports, and assisting in environmental site assessments and remediation projects. The Staff Scientist/Geologist will also manage data collection, interact with clients and regulatory agencies, and support project management activities. Collaboration with colleagues and adherence to safety and regulatory guidelines is essential.

• Fieldwork and sampling skills, including soil, groundwater, and environmental media collection
• Data analysis, laboratory work, and environmental assessment/reporting skills
• Knowledge of environmental regulations and compliance standards
• Strong communication, client interaction, and technical writing skills
• Proficiency in using geologic or environmental software and technology tools
• Ability to manage project timelines, multitask, and meet deadlines effectively
• Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Geology, Environmental Science, or related field
• State or professional certification, such as GIT, PG, or equivalent, is a plus
