Job DescriptionAs a Warehouse Lead at our Brownsburg location, you'll play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our warehouse. You will be responsible for overseeing the receiving, storage, and distribution of products, while maintaining a safe and organized work environment. This role requires a highly organized and motivated individual with a strong work ethic and excellent attention to detail.
Compensation Range: $20-25/Hour + Benefits (Compensation varies based on experience and education)
Key Responsibilities- Order Fulfillment
- Assist with unloading trucks using forklift or by hand and checking in merchandise.
- Efficiently and accurately assemble customer orders.
- Prepare orders for shipment (palletizing, boxing, labeling).
- Read and interpret customer orders, work orders, and shipping instructions.
- Operate warehouse equipment (e.g., forklift, pallet jack) safely and efficiently.
- Inventory Management
- Properly mark materials with identifying information.
- Regularly weigh and count items to ensure accurate inventory.
- Organize the warehouse and maintain orderliness.
- Customer Service
- Interact professionally with customers during deliveries and pickups.
- Safety and Compliance
- Ensure a safe and accessible warehouse environment.
- Adhere to safety regulations and standard operating procedures.
- Prepare and verify shipping and receiving documents.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1+ years of experience in a fast‑paced warehouse environment.
- Experience with forklift operation and other warehouse equipment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Basic mathematical skills.
- Familiarity with safety regulations.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Preferred experience includes basic knowledge of warehouse management system (WMS) software and working proficiency with Microsoft Outlook for communication and task coordination.
