As part of the Contract Logistics team at Kuehne+Nagel, you will play a key role in designing, managing, and optimizing solutions that keep goods moving efficiently. Your work ensures that our customers’ products are stored, handled, and delivered with precision, impacting businesses and communities around the world.
Job SummaryYou will report to a Supervisor and move product throughout the site, operating an order/cherry picker, reach truck, sit‑down forklift, or other heavy material handling equipment. The position requires working Friday‑Sunday, 12:00 PM‑12:30 AM, with pay of $22.97 per hour plus a $1.00 shift differential.
Key Responsibilities- Operate all three forklift types—order picker, reach truck, and sit‑down forklift—to load and unload trailers, pick orders, and move or store products throughout the warehouse.
- Verify and receive materials in inventory.
- Palletize and shrink‑wrap products as needed.
- Conduct pre‑operation and post‑operation equipment checks.
- Follow health and safety policies that comply with company and OSHA regulations.
- Perform other job responsibilities as assigned.
- Complete tasks in freezer and cold‑storage areas as part of daily responsibilities.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 1 year of recent experience operating all three forklift types—order picker, reach truck, and sit‑down forklift.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Availability to work overtime or weekends.
- Ability to walk or stand for extended periods of time.
