Inventory Control Team Lead

• Assist managing and mentoring Inventory Specialists and staff
• Maintain and review efficient and accurate inventory management procedures, consistent with company policy and procedure
• Provide accurate and timely order entry for operations
• Safeguard inventory assets to facilitate shortage detection
• Initiate and maintain an efficient cycle count strategy
• Maintain accurate records of all audits, counts, and adjustments
• Make system adjustments as required and analyze results of counts to initiate permanent corrective actions
• Follow client’s disposition of damaged and/or expired product, including shipment for destruction
• Provide timely and accurate responses to Customer Service and initiate cycle count requests
• Review and analyze weekly inventory report to determine error causes; initiate corrective action
• Support product recall return process through physical identification and segregation of product
• Responsible for running of reports, reconciliation of final count variances, and all other reconciliation activities
• Process accurate perpetual inventory adjustments to match physical inventory movement, when necessary
• Other duties as assigned
