Essential Duties And Responsibilities
The primary responsibility of the Maintenance Assistant Supervisor is to safely and efficiently perform operational duties on a daily basis which include (but are not limited to) the following:
- Assist in leading maintenance employees
- Evaluate / determine activities and materials needed for equipment repair
- Establish preventative maintenance schedules for all production/facility equipment and ensure adherence
- Plan resource requirements and work activities needed to complete equipment repairs and preventative maintenance
- Generate maintenance work orders as needed
- Lead efforts to ensure maintenance technicians' time is used effectively
- Track status of all open work orders and provide updates to Maintenance Manager
- Lead and enforce all safety and compliance standards, correct hazards, and ensure all team members follow OSHA, company policies, and required safety procedures at all times
- Performs other work-related duties and tasks as assigned by Maintenance Manager
Qualifications: Knowledge of all functions of the Maintenance department. Understand all production/facility equipment functions and department routines. Demonstrated ability to delegate work, motivate maintenance personnel and follow-up to job completion.
Must be able to work Monday - Friday, 7am - 4:30pm with overtime and 24/7 on call capabilities based on business needs.
This is a fully onsite role. Must be able to commute daily into our Brownsville, TN plant.
Must have knowledge and experience reading hydraulics and electrical prints.
Lean manufacturing and CMMS experience a big plus.
Preventative Maintenance, PLC And Robotics Experience Preferred.
