Summary: Troubleshoots, repairs, builds, and installs electrical, hydraulic, electronic, and mechanical systems.
Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesThe primary responsibility of the Maintenance Electrical Hydraulic Technician is to safely and efficiently perform top-quality operational duties on a daily basis which include (but are not limited to) the following:
- Trouble shoots, repairs, builds and installs electrical/electronic, hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical systems
- Works from manuals, schematics, and blue prints
- Assembles, programs, and installs PLC systems
- Performs other work related duties and tasks as assigned by Maintenance Superintendent, Assistant Supervisor, or Group Leader.

QualificationsTrained in use and operation of switch gear, troubleshooting electrical and hydraulic systems
Education and/or ExperienceHigh School Diploma or equivalent. Technical training from the military, vocational/technical school or college. Five years’ experience as a technician in an industrial maintenance department.
Language SkillsAbility to read and comprehend sufficient English to follow work instructions and blueprints. Must be able to communicate well verbally with others.
Mathematical SkillsBasic mathematical skills associated with the position.
Reasoning AbilityStrong reasoning ability to troubleshoot machines. Must work well with little supervision.
Certificates, Licenses, RegistrationsMust be able to achieve and retain a forklift license.

Must be able to do some climbing on machines, be able to lift 70 pounds, and stand/walk for extended amounts of time.
