Troubleshoots, repairs, builds, and installs plant production and support equipment.

• Bends conduit, pulls wire, and hooks up equipment
• Maintains machine and support equipment PMs
• Performs other work‑related duties and tasks as assigned by Maintenance Supervisor or Group Leader.

• Trained in use and operation of electrical and hydraulic systems.

High School Diploma or equivalent. Technical training from the military, vocational/technical school or college. Three years’ experience as a technician in an industrial maintenance department.

Ability to read and comprehend sufficient English to follow work instructions and blueprints. Must be able to communicate well verbally with others.

Basic mathematical skills associated with the position.

Strong reasoning ability to troubleshoot machines. Must work well with little supervision.

Must be able to achieve and retain a forklift license.

Must be able to do some climbing on machines, lift 70 pounds, and stand/walk for extended periods of time.

General factory. Exposed to heat, cold, noise, dust, oil/grease and traveling powered industrial vehicles.

  Trouble shooting and repairing electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems and PLCs.
• Line Operation:
  Responsible for getting lines that go down back to production in a timely manner.
