Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m., with weekend and overtime work required as needed - Compensation:$45,000–$55,000 annually

We are seeking a detail-oriented Junior Accountant to support the accounting operations of a multi-entity organization operating in industrial staffing, real estate rentals, and real estate development. This role operates in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and requires the ability to manage accounting functions across multiple legal entities while maintaining accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting.
Key Responsibilities- Perform day-to-day accounting activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash receipts, and disbursements across multiple entities.
- Prepare and post journal entries, maintain general ledgers, and assist with month-end and year-end close processes.
- Conduct bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Support intercompany transactions, allocations, and eliminations as required for multi-entity operations.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements, management reports, and supporting schedules for industrial staffing, real estate rental, and real estate development activities.
- Maintain accurate fixed-asset records and support project-cost tracking related to real estate development.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, internal controls, and applicable accounting standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external parties as needed to resolve accounting issues and support operational requirements.
- Perform additional accounting and administrative duties as assigned in a high-volume, fast-paced setting.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related field.
- Three to five years of progressive accounting experience.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with multi-entity accounting structures.
- Strong knowledge of general ledger accounting, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities under deadlines.
- Capacity to work overtime and occasional weekends as business needs require.
- Prior experience in staffing, real estate, or multi-entity environments.
- Familiarity with property accounting or project-cost accounting practices.
- Working knowledge of GAAP and internal control procedures.
