We are a growing construction company seeking an experienced Project Superintendent to lead field operations on commercial construction projects. This role is essential to the successful delivery of our work and requires strong leadership, organization, and a commitment to quality and safety.

The Project Superintendent is responsible for coordinating daily jobsite activities, supervising crews and subcontractors, and ensuring all work is performed in accordance with project plans, schedules, and safety requirements. This position works closely with project management to maintain productivity and meet project milestones. Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily field operations and manage jobsite personnel.
  • Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, inspectors, and internal teams.
  • Monitor quality of work to ensure compliance with project plans and specifications.
  • Maintain project schedules and communicate progress and challenges.
  • Enforce safety policies and lead daily safety discussions.
  • Schedule inspections and ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Manage material deliveries, equipment usage, and site logistics.
  • Keep jobsites organized, professional, and secure.
  • Prepare daily field reports including photos and activity logs.
  • Identify and resolve issues that may impact schedule, safety, or quality.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of proven experience in commercial construction supervision.
  • Strong understanding of construction methods, sequencing, and safety practices.
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications.
  • Proven experience leading crews and coordinating multiple trades.
  • Effective communication and problem solving skills.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced jobsite environment.
  • OSHA 10 or 30 preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to job sites.
  • Basic knowledge of software programs such as Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
Physical & Work Environment
  • This role requires daily presence on active construction sites and the ability to perform physical tasks as needed.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Ability to work outdoors in varied weather conditions.
  • Ability to lift up to 100 lbs. when required.
  • Exposure to noise, dust, and active construction equipment.
