SUPERVISORY REFERENCES REQUIRED
REQUIRED FOR SUBSTITUTE TEACHER:
* High school diploma or GED equivalent (recognized by the Texas Education Agency or a regional accrediting agency) required. Plus forty eight (48) semester college hours from and accredited college or university (Official Transcripts required). AND/OR
* Associate degree or higher;
* Must complete mandatory CRASE (Active Shooter) Training.
SPECIAL KNOWLEDGE/
SKILLS:
* Ability to read, write and communicate in English.
* Ability to communicate effectively with diverse groups of individuals in a professional manner.
* Ability to assist students with academic work at the academic grade level appropriate for the assignment.
* Ability to work as a member of a team to provide assistance to students.
* Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
* College Degree will be accepted in place of HS Diploma/GED from an accredited institution
REQUIRED FOR SUBSTITUTE ADMINISTRATOR:
* Valid Texas Teacher Certification
* Professional Administrator, Mid-Management, Superintendent, or Principal Certificate
* Five (5) years Experience as a Campus Administrator
* Must complete mandatory CRASE (Active Shooter) Training.
