Position: Business Education Teacher POOL  2026-2027

Business Education Teacher

The role of the Business Education Teacher is to provide instruction in business, finance, accounting, entrepreneurship, economics, and personal financial literacy courses while preparing students for college, careers, industry certifications, and work-based learning experiences. Integrate technology, business applications, and career-readiness skills into instruction; assess student progress and maintain accurate records. Support student participation in CTSOs, develop partnerships with business and industry representatives, participate in curriculum development and professional learning, and ensure compliance with TEA CTE requirements and district policies, and other duties as assigned.

Required:

Bachelor's Degree;
Valid State of Texas Certification in one of the following:

  • Business and Finance:
    Grades 6-12.
  • Business

    Education:

    Grades 6-12.
  • Marketing:
    Grades 6-12.
  • Marketing Education (Grades 8-12).
  • Any Business or Office Education Certificate
  • Or eligibility letter from an Alternative Certification Program
