The Graduate Research Assistantships are available to PhD students in Human Genetics and will be funded by NIH grants. Graduate Research Assistants will be assigned to a specific faculty member and will assist with project goals funded by the grant. Duties will include activities related to the student’s field of study and will vary by project.
Responsibilities- Data collection and data analysis related to NIH-funded projects.
- Preparation of manuscripts and other scholarly products as assigned.
- Support to the faculty member in accomplishing project goals; flexible distribution of hours up to 20 hours per week.
Required Qualifications
The position is for PhD students in Human Genetics, funded by NIH grants. Personnel funded by these awards must comply with federal laws, regulations, and policies protecting participants in NIH-funded projects. Duties include data collection, data analysis, manuscript preparation, and other project-related tasks. Graduate Research Assistants will work 20 hours per week with flexible distribution.
Preferred QualificationsOpen to full-time PhD students in good academic standing within the Human Genetics PhD Program.
