Job DescriptionRequired Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree
- Valid Texas Secondary English Language Arts/Reading Grades 6-12 Certificate and/or an eligibility letter from an Alternative Certification Program or equivalent (must have passed content exam to qualify)
- Must be eligible to become ESL certified within the school year if not already ESL certified
The English Language Arts/Reading Teacher will teach English to high school students and complete all paperwork as well as instructional duties assigned to provide the best education possible for students of B.I.S.D.
