Engineering Teacher
Location:
Oliveria MS/Lucio MS
Required:
- Bachelor's Degree (Engineering);
- Work experience in engineering field
- Valid State of Texas Certification in one of the following:
- Mathematics/Physical Science/Engineering:
Grades 6-12. - Mathematics/Physical Science/Engineering:
Grades 8-12. - Secondary Industrial Arts (Grades 6-12).
- Secondary Industrial Technology (Grades 6-12).
- Technology
Education:
Grades 6-12. - Or Trade and Industrial Certificate Grade 9-12 with emphasis in engineering
- Or eligibility letter from an Alternative Certification Program
Preferred:
- Experience in CNC programming, mechanical drawings, 3D printing and solid modeling, handling industrial robots, AC/DC circuits, pneumatics, Adobe products, computer systems and coding software.
The Engineering Teacher is to provide instruction in the subject area of Science Technology, Engineering & Mathematics to secondary level students and is required to provide instructional services in a manner consistent with Board Policy and consistent with statutes and standards of regulatory agencies.
