You understand the distinction: a coach builds rapport, sets high expectations, and won't allow a student to accept mediocrity. An instructor transmits information. You've never operated as an information transmission device.

Alpha operates what may be the most nontraditional school you'll encounter. Students don't occupy desks in traditional rows while listening to lectures. They progress through AI-driven learning platforms at an individualized pace. AI manages the academic instruction. Your responsibility is to facilitate life skills workshops that capture the attention of K-8 students, conduct motivation sessions that drive them toward weekly learning targets, and maintain standards when a student attempts to underperform.

This position offers meaningful upward trajectory focused on deepening student outcomes. • Facilitating one-hour life skills workshops for K-8 students addressing topics including public speaking, concentration, and constructive feedback exchange

• Conducting daily motivation sessions leveraging student profiles, personal interests, and Coachbot analytics to ensure 100% of your cohort achieves weekly app progression goals
• Utilizing narrative techniques, incentive structures (school currency systems, leaderboards), and individual relationships to overcome student reluctance
• Monitoring cohort satisfaction metrics with a target of 90%+ on student survey responses

• Delivering traditional board-based lectures. Students progress academically via self-directed AI-powered platforms, not through direct instruction from you.

• Bachelor's degree in any discipline
• Minimum of 3 years of direct experience working with K-8 (elementary and middle school) students
• Strong storytelling and facilitation skills — capacity to maintain children's engagement throughout an hour-long session
